She started her career in emergency medicine and later moved into behavioral health and addiction treatment, bringing more than ten years of hands-on experience to her role. Her background in direct care has shaped the way she leads, with a focus on both the medical and emotional sides of recovery.

Rachel is currently working toward her psychiatric nurse practitioner degree while guiding the center’s growth and day-to-day mission. Since Hillside opened, she has played a key role in building a trauma-informed environment where clients and families feel safe and supported.

Known for her straightforward and compassionate style, Rachel often tells clients, “It’s okay to not be okay.” That phrase reflects the honesty and acceptance she believes are central to lasting recovery.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, traveling with her family, and spending time in places that allow her to slow down and recharge.
